Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 12, 2026

These Terms govern your access to HackHack AI, the Solana audit platform operated by Decoy Research Inc. They describe who may use the service, how audit submissions and reports are handled, payment expectations, and the limits that apply to the service.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of HackHack AI, including our website, audit workspace, report delivery tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Decoy Research Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Decoy Research," "HackHack," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. You may only use the Service in compliance with applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and one-time access codes. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

You agree to provide accurate account and contact information, and to keep it current.

3. The Service

HackHack AI provides a client workspace for requesting hybrid AI-human Solana audits, uploading repositories or project files, reviewing scope and pricing, making payments when required, and receiving audit reports.

We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not required to maintain any particular feature, workflow, or availability level.

4. Audit Submissions and Your Responsibilities

You may submit repositories, archive files, binaries, documentation, diffs, patch files, and related materials for analysis only if you own them or have all rights and authorizations needed for us and our service providers to access, process, store, and analyze them.

You agree not to submit materials that:

  • you do not have permission to disclose or analyze;
  • violate confidentiality, employment, licensing, or contractual obligations;
  • contain unlawful, malicious, or harmful content; or
  • are submitted for any illegal, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

You remain responsible for verifying that any information you provide can be lawfully shared with us and our subprocessors.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, repositories, or data;
  • probe, attack, or abuse the Service or other users;
  • interfere with the stability or security of the Service;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract protected parts of the Service;
  • use the Service to support unlawful activity or malware development; or
  • misrepresent your identity, authority, or relationship to a project.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk for us, our users, or third parties.

6. Fees and Payments

Pricing may vary by engagement. Some audits may require a quote before work proceeds, and some payments may be processed on-chain in USDC on Solana or through other methods we make available.

Unless required by law or expressly agreed by us in writing, payments are non-refundable once an audit has been scoped, queued, started, or delivered.

You are responsible for transaction fees, wallet interactions, taxes, and any costs associated with your chosen payment method.

7. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

To provide the Service, we may rely on third-party infrastructure, storage, email, payment, repository, analytics, and artificial intelligence providers.

By using the Service, you authorize us to transmit and process submitted materials and related metadata through those providers as reasonably necessary to authenticate users, manage audit workflows, analyze submissions, communicate with you, and generate reports.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or conduct attributable to third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

As between you and HackHack, you retain ownership of the code, files, and other materials you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, access, modify for formatting or processing, analyze, and otherwise use those materials solely to operate, improve, secure, and support the Service.

We retain all rights in the Service itself, including our software, workflows, branding, UI, and platform materials. We also retain rights in generalized know-how, methods, and service improvements developed through operating the platform.

Audit reports and related outputs are provided for your internal business use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

Security analysis, AI-generated findings, and audit outputs may contain false positives, false negatives, incomplete observations, or judgment calls. No audit, report, or finding guarantees the absence of bugs, vulnerabilities, exploits, or losses.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DECOY RESEARCH INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC AUDIT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Decoy Research Inc. and its affiliates, personnel, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your submissions, your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another party's rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, respond to legal risk, or address abuse or nonpayment.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@hackhack.ai.
